CIMRO of Nebraska and the Nebraska Hospital Association serve as the NODE for the state of Nebraska in promotion of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's campaigns to improve hospital care. The partnership assists in outreach efforts to increase community involvement and dialogue on healthcare quality improvement. The most recent project, the IHI Improvement Map, is an initiative to help hospitals make sense of countless requirements and focus on high-leverage changes to transform care.
CIMRO of Nebraska also actively promotes and supports hospitals in submission of quality data for reporting and Annual Payment Update (APU) purposes. Educational opportunities and technical assistance will be offered to hospitals on the use of CMS systems and reporting tools, such as CART, QualityNet and the QIO Clinical Warehouse.
