2014 Nebraska Healthcare Quality Forum
CIMRO of Nebraska held its eleventh annual Nebraska Healthcare Quality Forum on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in La Vista.
The Quality Forum is an opportunity to showcase many of the progressive initiatives in our state. Approximately 425 Nebraska healthcare providers participated in the Forum in an effort to build partnerships and share knowledge. The focus was on initiatives that have proven successful in improving care in nursing homes, homecare agencies, hospitals and physician offices. Best practices, lessons learned, potential partnerships and challenges were shared; with the overall goal of improving the quality of care for Nebraskans.
Nearly forty Nebraska healthcare organizations presented quality improvement initiatives, methods and data and activities demonstrating their efforts to improve healthcare practices. Presentation topics included organizational culture change, clinical care, patient safety, health information technology, care coordination and patient-centered care processes.
