Pain Interfering with Activity Overview

The publicly reported outcome measure Pain Interfering with Activity, OASIS item M0420, identifies the frequency with which pain interferes with the patient’s activity or movements. Effective pain management requires a comprehensive assessment of the patient, implementing evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and educating the patient and caregiver on effective pain management strategies.
