CIMRO of Nebraska believes strongly in local physician involvement and is actively recruiting Nebraska physicians to participate in the peer review process.   Physician Reviewers are considered independent consultants; as such, there are no contracts to sign.  Physician reviewers must be in active practice and be licensed in the state in which review activities are performed.

Physician reviewers may perform first, second, or reconsideration levels of review, and may also be asked to participate in advisory committees for special projects.  As a physician reviewer, you will be joining a large network of physicians and other healthcare professionals who are committed to quality healthcare.  Many reviewers report participation in peer review and quality improvement activities to be very gratifying.  While looking at various approaches to care, their educational and professional experiences have been enhanced.
