CIMRO of Nebraska is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Nebraska. Our vision is to make healthcare in Nebraska the nation's best.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) administers the national QIO program. Under contract with CMS, we work to promote quality healthcare services, determine medical necessity of services and ensure professionally recognized standards of care are met. We work in partnership with the healthcare community and organizations across the state.

Wide River Technology Extension Center (Wide River TEC) is the Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center for Nebraska.  Wide River TEC was formed out of a federal grant aimed to assist healthcare providers in adopting Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and achieving Meaningful Use.
